About Our Graduate Program

Kick start your career with the Rabo Graduate Program! Our unique 18‑month journey is designed to launch graduates into meaningful, purpose-driven roles at Rabobank. You’ll rotate across diverse parts of the business, from collaborating at our Sydney head office, to supporting clients in our regional and rural branches, to potentially taking on an international assignment in our global HQ in Utrecht, all while contributing to Rabobank’s mission of Growing a Better World Together.

Responsibilities

As a bank dedicated to agriculture, our regional and rural branches help support the innovative farmers and agribusinesses who put food on our tables every day.

Our Rural Banking Graduate Stream offers you the opportunity to rotate up to three different regional or rural branches, gaining valuable skills and knowledge that will help add value to our clients, build meaningful relationships and help support our farmers to grow more with less.

No two days are ever the same, you will be guided by the experts in the field on how to maintain and grow client portfolio, conduct credit review, undertake financial analysis, and bring your innovative ideas on ways to add value to our clients.

To develop a well-rounded knowledge of the bank, you will also complete two short rotations within Risk and Compliance as well as Operations. Selected Graduates will also have the opportunity to complete a two-week international assignment to connect with colleagues in our global head office in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Job requirements

  • Final year undergraduate or postgraduate student, or have recently graduated within the last three years.
  • Available to start full time employment from February 2027.
  • Flexible to relocate across different regional or rural locations in Australia (accommodation allowance may apply)
  • Australia or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest in your chosen field.
  • Passion for the food and agribusiness industry would be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with ability to plan and organise self.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
