We're looking for a new colleague to join our Retail Account Management team. As an Account Manager for Cards for the Eastern Netherlands region, you'll be responsible for building long-term customer relationships and expanding our fuel card customer base. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing the value of our card business by increasing both volume and margins within VARO's Dutch gas station network. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Acquiring new customers and identifying business opportunities and market movements;
  • Mapping the needs of existing and potential customers and taking action to meet these needs;
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers within your own region or for specific locations;
  • Building and maintaining the customer portfolio and effective long-term customer relationships;
  • Weekly assessment and adjustment of sales volumes and prices;
  • Participate in networking events;
  • Maintaining the archiving and processing of contract adjustments.

Job requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS

  • A completed vocational or higher professional education in a commercial direction;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an account management or sales management position;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, preferably related to gas stations;
  • Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written;
  • Availability of 40 hours per week.
