As a Corporate Finance Associate you will be successful by supporting senior bankers on the origination and execution of M&A transactions, by showing a genuine interest in corporate finance and in the food & agriculture sector, and by demonstrating a drive to learn and develop your technical, commercial and relationship skillset
The Corporate Finance Associate is expected to provide a broad range of analytical, transaction, and marketing support functions to the professionals in the Corporate Finance group and client project teams. The focus of the role will be on assisting senior bankers on tasks performed during the origination and execution of transactions (primarily M&A) and development of new business prospects, including preparing industry analysis, company profiles, information memoranda and presentations. Corporate Finance Associates are also responsible for financial modelling, valuation analyses, M&A and LBO modelling.
To be considered for the Associate, Corporate Finance role, you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree, and MBA or other graduate degree in finance or related studies.
• Academic record (strong GPA).
• Good understanding of transaction cycles and the M&A product.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good financial and computer (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively
• Ability to travel regionally, up to 15%
