About the job

The Business Control Analyst is member of the Business control team and shares the responsibility including financial planning and analysis and financial modeling to help the organization set realistic financial goals and allocate resources effectively. Also establish and follow-up key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the company's performance against its goals, aiming to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance overall efficiency and profitability.

This Business Control Analyst also analyzes cost structures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to maximize the company's financial performance, working closely with other departments, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

This may involve assessing the financial impact of different business initiatives and advising on the best course of action, including seeking opportunities for process improvements within the finance function. leveraging technology and best practices to streamline financial processes and enhance the overall efficiency of financial information.

Responsibilities

Key tasks for our new Business Control Analyst:

  • Act as a business partner that conducts financial planning & analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Support trade and logistics with key information to assess business performance.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including Mark to Market, Value Added and Position Reporting to ensure proper performance and control measurement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance to ensure proper alignment with business needs.
  • Evaluate and optimize financial processes to streamline operations and enhance financial reporting accuracy.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Advise senior management on financial strategies, potential risks, and opportunities for growth.

Job requirements

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented attitude with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional experience in trading or related industries is highly valued
