The Buyer will be responsible for routine country or multi-country sourcing activities. In this role, they will coordinate and execute low- and medium-complexity procurement requirements with support from the Regional or Global team.

• Execute low- and medium-complexity requests for the Capex purchasing process in South Latam.
• Promote the implementation of local sourcing decisions and support the local implementation of regional or global sourcing decisions.
• Provide local input to the Capex team for the development and execution of defined strategies.
• Build and apply a comprehensive understanding of the local, stakeholder, and procurement landscape.
• Follow established policies and procedures for the acquisition of non-contracted materials, goods, services, and supplies, and for the selection and communication with suppliers.
• Manage transactions associated with obtaining goods and services.
• Have the ability to review and understand the market applicable to the required needs.
• Be responsible for basic issues and have direct supervisory support for more complex processes.
• Other assigned duties

• Training in Economics or Industrial Engineering.
• Intermediate level English.
• Basic level Portuguese (preferable).
