Internship Overview: Our Trade Commodity Finance Credits Department seeks a proactive, detail-oriented, and ambitious intern to join our team. You'll thrive in a supportive environment that fosters personal growth and values initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with TCF Credits team to assist them in assessment of creditworthiness of TCF clients.
  • Evaluating credit proposals, financial statements ( Balance sheet, P&L), credit reports and assessing key financial ratios of corporate clients.
  • Investigation of (possible) clients to asses risk associated with business model, country and market
  • Support the TCF Credits team by researching and compiling relevant information on counterparties involved in client transactions (suppliers, buyers, forwarders, warehouses, etc)
  • Preparation of assessment and documentation of clients to be analyzed in weekly credit committees regarding the proposed request.
  • Attending to Pre-committees to discuss clients and preparing minutes for the related the committee meetings.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports using different systems of the bank
  • Update and organize client files and documentations based on internal policy and procedures.
