Job description

The Junior Trade Execution Executive will coordinate and plan import and export processes, customs documentation, shipping and receiving of foreign merchandise to ensure it arrives at correct time. In this role, you will issue import licenses and complete monetary transactions associated with the import in a timely manner. This role is part of World Trading Group Palm Oil team.

This is an entry level role for individuals that would like to develop a career in Trade Execution.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile data for inventory, warehouse transfers, loading orders, quality, claims, demurrage and dispatch cases.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with medium accounts, customers, clients, suppliers and other business partners.
  • Work with external authorities to verify and comply with all customs requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations.
  • Prepare, review, approve and maintain files for import and export documents.
  • Support the Trade Execution Executive on daily activities to ensure trade documentations and contract accuracy, presentation of documentations to banks payment (ie Letter of Credits, Cash against documents).
  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
