As a Manager Trading Operations - Renewables you will be joining the Biomethane Desk. Here, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful trading activities by managing and optimizing the biomethane portfolio in close collaboration with the Biogas Trader. Your responsibilities span the operational side of trading, where you act as the key interface between contract closure and invoicing. You ensure smooth execution of day-to-day trades by handling the associated administration and follow-up, while maintaining compliance with ISCC and RED certification standards and operating effectively within VISTA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and recommendations on the renewables economy to the Trading Desk to guide clients and suppliers on accurate positions and business development opportunities;
  • Evaluate and process incoming volumes for accurate, regulatory-compliant delivery to customers;
  • Ensure precise trade splitting and reconcile positions across databases and registries (VISTA);
  • Forecast production and consumption of renewable products;
  • Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and internal Sustainability audits.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in oil/gas and/or commodity trading, with a preference for biofuels/renewable gas/renewable power trading;
  • Completed education in Commercial, Logistics or Controlling;
  • Experience working with ERP, EPRM and/or TRS systems;
  • Professional knowledge of ISCC, RED certification and NTA8080/Better Bio Mass;
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills;
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus.
