Job description

This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

The supply planner, is responsible for planning and coordinating inbound/outbound flows of our Refinery in Izegem and manage the planning of our 3rd party filling location.  Evaluate distribution and transportation operations, data and facilities to identify the most effective distribution. In this role, you will help conduct data management, reporting and analysis, planning and cross functional stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute short-term supply and production plans of our 3rd party filling location.
  • Evaluate, select and foster continuous relationships with different stakeholders. Manage communication and coordinate solutioning.
  • Track KPI’s (costs, complaints,…), identify gaps and lead improvement project.
  • Vendor invoice management: make sure external vendors are paid on time and invoices match our inbound flows.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage change and ambiguity.
  • High adaptability and accountability in dynamic environments.
  • Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration in virtual teams.
