This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.

The transportation Support Coordinator will coordinate and plan logistics with third party providers and internal teams to ensure that customer sales orders are loaded and delivered as required and resolve any issues as they arise. In this role, you will conduct routine activities within a single business or country with short term outlook, including data management, reporting and analysis, shipment execution, client interaction, business partnership, and communication of delivery status of shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Work with third party logistics providers to move product between the locations and external warehouse,
    addressing any issues.
  • Monitor pick-ups and deliveries, communicate delays and reasons to sales and carriers, handle returns,
    diversions and order changes.
  • Receive, investigate and resolve logistics related customer complaints, raising service non conformance reports
    and claims with third party logistics providers as appropriate.
  • Provide support for schedulers as back up, like supply chain planning operations, process development,
    planning and execution, client interaction, business partnership, systems and data management, reporting and
    analysis.
  • Ensure that product safety, quality and hygiene standards are set and driven at all times.
  • Work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical
    or customer support issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff.

Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Confirmed ability to be a team player and perform in a fast-paced environment, including sound prioritization,
    sense of urgency and multitasking
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong client and customer focus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or related area.

Position Details

  • Location: Fully Remote (Wichita,KS)
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday 4:00pm to midnight | Saturday and Sunday 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Important note: This is not a traditional 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. role. Candidates must be comfortable working non-standard and fluctuating schedules
  • The schedule is variable and may include:Evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays shifts. Any time the main office is closed
  • The role covers after-hours operations Monday through Friday, as well as weekends, and is considered around-the-clock coverage. Hours may vary based on business needs, volume, and unforeseen events.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided for this role
  • The business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
