Interfood is looking for a Commercial Intern to strengthen our Commercial Team and help ensure our commercial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately managing contract administration, handling a wide range of administrative tasks, and supporting operational activities that directly contribute to the success of our commercial processes. Working closely with colleagues from both the Commercial Support and Sales teams, you’ll bring structure to internal workflows and customer-central operations.

We’re looking for someone who not only excels at keeping things organized and precise but also enjoys thinking critically about how we can improve the way we work. You’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas and help streamline and professionalize our processes, ensuring we continuously elevate the performance of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contract administration, including the distribution of sales contracts and processing of signed return contracts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and independently propose and implement more efficient ways of working, with a focus on structure and procedural clarity
  • Act as the first point of contact for routine client requests (e.g., rescheduling, early deliveries), escalating only complex issues.
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to monitor the status of incoming goods and ensure timely updates.
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients and market segments for dairy products.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of master data in all applicable systems

Job requirements

Education

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in business, economics, finance, or a related field.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Affinity with commercial processes and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Knowledge of commodity markets and trading practices is a plus, but not required.
