As an Intern Capital Origination, you know the secrets of the energy transition and work with an ambitious team on strategic projects within the Energy Transition & Circularity and Transport & Mobility sectors. You will have the opportunity to gain relevant experience in financial analysis and preparing client presentations. You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, collaborating directly with all team members and connecting with various teams within Wholesale. This way, you will develop in-depth knowledge of the energy transition and build a valuable network within Rabobank.

Within this internship, you will have the opportunity to get to know yourself, the field, and Rabobank. Responsibilities

During this internship at Rabobank, you will work on your career by:

  • Conducting market analyses for various subsectors within the energy transition.
  • Actively contributing to the preparation of client presentations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from Client Coverage, RaboResearch, product departments, and European branches.

And after that? You will have built a solid foundation in investment banking, established a relevant network, and gained valuable knowledge of the energy transition. This offers you excellent prospects for a future within Rabobank or the financial sector.

Job requirements

  • Master’s student or third-year bachelor’s student.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, takes unambiguous ownership, and strives to get better every day.
  • Solution-oriented, customer-focused, and stimulates collaboration.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Interest in the energy transition/energy sector.

Practical

  • Duration: minimum of 3 months, starting January 2026.
  • Location: Utrecht, Croeselaan 18 (hybrid working possible).
  • Hours per week: 36.
