Responsibilities

Logistics Internship

The Logistics Intern is responsible for assisting with business goals to strategically source goods and services, decrease manufacturing time, optimize inventory, streamline order fulfillment, and build continuous improvement projects. You will also gain exposure to systems data entry, cost reduction, and ensuring products and commodities meet customer price and scheduling needs.

In addition, interns will have the opportunity to apply their skills and gain a deeper understanding of the organization through various intern events.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Right to work in the U.S. (not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer).
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, procurement, engineering, finance, economics, MIS, logistics, or another related business subject (graduating between December 2026 and Summer 2028).
  • Geographically flexible and willing to relocate to Amarillo, TX for the internship.
  • Able to complete a 12-week internship (May/June – August 2026).
  • Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • High degree of initiative and resourcefulness, with ability to complete work with limited guidance.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.
  • Strong aptitude for business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Internship Details

  • Internships are typically 12 weeks in duration.
  • Paid hourly for time worked.
  • Interns are responsible for their own transportation to and from work.
  • Opportunity to travel during the term.
  • High-performing interns may be offered an internship or full-time position for the following year.
